Toe Spreading Gel Bunion Shield Reviews 15 of 15 people found the following review helpful ![]() This review is from: Toe Spreading Gel Bunion Shield (Health and Beauty) My wife purchased two (2) of these a few months ago, and regretted it immediately. The gel shield only separates the big toe from the next toe, which really just lets the big toe stay where it is and pushes the others further. She wishes she had been smarter and now realizes there would have to be something which "pulls" the big toe outward. Oh well live and learn. 14 of 15 people found the following review helpful ![]() This review is from: Toe Spreading Gel Bunion Shield (Health and Beauty) I wear these at night on each toe. It does help the pain the next day. They are quite comfortable at night but cannot be worn with shoes since they feel bulky.Only problem is that the gel is very soft and thin. This makes it comfortable to wear but very flimsy. One of mine just broke and I have only been wearing them two months. The portion that goes between the toes split in two. 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful ![]() Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Toe Spreading Gel Bunion Shield (Health and Beauty) I bought this to prevent my bunion and bunionette on my left foot from getting worse. I recently had bunion surgery on my right foot and wanted to prevent the bunions from getting to that level. It does fit in a shoe, which is nice, but I prefer to use it at night. The only annoyance is the flap that lays over the bunion flips up and gets twisted at night. If you don't move too much, it stays in place. You could, also, wear a sock over it and that would solve the problem. I just purchased the Bunion Aid, and I am trying that instead. So far, it works great. It stays in place and you can adjust the tension so you can pull your toe back into place as little or as much as you can tolerate. |
