It immediately made a difference on the calluses on my heels the first time I used it. I had used other pumice stones and smoothers plus lotion and wasn't getting anywhere until I used this. Plus, the extra smoothing pads that come with it will make it last much longer. I have tried many other 'so called' callus remover products on the market, and none of them worked any where close to how this one preforms. Every year when the winter months would roll around, I would always end up with what I called "winter feet" .... a lot of dead thick skin on my heals that would be impossible to remove no matter what I tried on them. With all of the other products that I have tried in the past (pumice stones, various scrapers, scrubs, etc). NOTHING worked even after numerous attempts.My sister showed me this wonderful little tool. I couldn't wait to go out & get one for myself! I started with a soak for my feet, then started scrubbing with this tool. ALL of the thick, rough skin came right off! One side is for removing the dead skin, and the other side is for smoothing the skin off after you remove the calloused skin.
